Simple Past With Regular Verbs
We oftenadd -ed to verbs (regular verbs) to make the past simple.

It is often used when talking about a specific time or period in the past. Regular verbs in the simple past areformed by adding “-ed” to the base form of the verb, while irregular verbs have unique past forms.
A state is a situation without an action happening. We stayed at my grandparents' house last summer. Regular past simple forms areformed by adding -ed to the infinitive of the verb.
With regular verbs, we form the simple past and past participle forms byadding “-ed” to the end of the word(or “-d” if the verb already ends in “e”).
